The most creative and talented debaters
At the opening, the hosts of the debate tournament noted that this year is an anniversary for the Academy and for the first time in the history of debate tournaments, a debate tournament is held at a departmental university of national scale.
2016 is a special year in the history of the development of the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Shrakbek Kabylbayev, 45 years have passed since the establishment of our university. In this anniversary year, we, the staff and cadets, must once again recall how our Academy arose, developed and strengthened, how step by step, overcoming trials, confidently went forward. The whole complex of anniversary events is the main evidence of this.
With a welcoming speech, the debate tournament was opened by the deputy head of the Academy, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor, police Lieutenant Colonel Seitzhanov Olzhas Temirzhanovich, who congratulated all participants of the tournament on the opening, expressed gratitude to our guests who found the opportunity to participate in the debate tournament, wishing creative success, fruitful work, bold decisions, success and good luck, and He also noted the importance of the topic under discussion.
In addition, in his speech, Deputy Head of the Academy Seitzhanov O.T. focused on the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the people of Kazakhstan dated November 30, 2015 "Kazakhstan in a new global reality: growth, reforms, development", quoting the words of the Head of State N.A. Nazarbayev: "The younger generation is offered variable ways of self-realization, it is only necessary to make your choice, not to be passive, but to be active and demanding, first of all in relation to yourself", "... luck comes to the strongest. We must not forget that in order to become a true professional in your field, you must meet the requirements of the time ...".
Today, a new generation is growing up, imbibing the spirit of freedom, success and victory, which glorifies our Kazakhstan with its creative, intellectual achievements and good deeds!
32 (thirty–two) teams from the following universities took an active part in the debate tournament: Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Shyrakbek Kabylbayev, Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kokshetau Technical Institute of the Committee of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kokshetau State University named after Shokan Ualikhanov, as well as students of universities of the Kostanay region - Kostanay State University named after Akhmet Baitursynov, Kostanay The State Pedagogical Institute, the Kostanay branch of the Chelyabinsk State University, as well as for the first time, high school students of secondary schools of the Kostanay region, including the Nazarbayev Intellectual School, took part in the debate tournament.
The purpose of this tournament was to raise awareness and involve young people in the main areas of research on the problems of improving the law enforcement system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The head of the cycle of "Special Disciplines" of the Training Center (Astana) was invited as the chief judge of the Russian League The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, police Captain Avenov Timur Kairatovich, the judging of the Kazakh league of the debate tournament was headed by the president of the Law and Order debate club, a 3rd year cadet of our Academy, junior police Sergeant Kabai Manar.
The republican debate tournament is another step towards the development of young minds, instilling the basics and skills of public speaking, and the formation of a new generation of young people.
This debate tournament allowed us to establish a fruitful dialogue and became an additional incentive for the formation of new scientific ideas and thoughts, allowed us to further fruitful cooperation between our educational organizations, which will expand and deepen.
In our opinion, we believe that such events for cadets and university students should be held more often, since in the process of preparing for debates, the intellectual development of cadets and students increases, debates help to get the knowledge and skills necessary for successful life in modern society, debates teach a lot, and not just teach, but develop.
