On April 27, 2016, the Department of Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics conducted a quiz among the study groups 301-304 of the 3rd year of the Faculty of full-time education on the knowledge of the taught academic disciplines of the department within the framework of the week of the department.
This event was held in order to consolidate the knowledge gained on a special part of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Criminalistics, as well as to teach them the skills of practical application of the criminal procedure legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The topic of our quiz is "The Science of the pathfinder" and it was dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the formation of the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Shrakbek Kabylbayev. Four teams took part in the quiz, 5 people from each study group. The answers and the level of knowledge in the jury were evaluated by teachers of the UPiC department, police Captain Alzhanov D.M., police Lieutenant Colonel Bukhmetova J.S., senior police lieutenant Galym A.M.
The quiz was held in two rounds: the first round on knowledge of a Special part of the Criminal Procedure Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan - participants had to correctly and timely solve the presented situational tasks, then offer their opponents their own version of the situational task and its solutions, the second round on knowledge of Criminology assumed answers to the questions posed, then a forensic solution according to the proposed scheme on the layout. The final one was the competition of team captains.
All cadets took an active part in the quiz, reinforcing their answers with the relevant norms of the procedural legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to the results of two rounds and the captains' competition, the teams of 302 and 303 study groups became the best with the same results and active participation. The single-handed championship among captains was won by cadet of the 303rd training group Kabai Manar. All participants and winners received certificates and valuable prizes from the staff of the department.
