About 150 participants contested places in the national team of the region to participate in the championship of Kazakhstan. At the opening of the championship, the head of the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Shrakbek Kabylbayev, Police Colonel M.A. Kyzylov, congratulated the participants on the start of the competition and wished them further sporting achievements. Of the guests of honor, the following were present:

• Veteran of sports, Universiade champion Bekbosynov Otebek Murzakhmetovich.
• One of the famous coaches in Kazakhstan, Master of sports Akhmetov Arkady Kadyrzhanovich.
• Veteran of sports, World champion among masters, Master of Sports of International class Zadnepriany Igor Vladimirovich.
• Vice-president of the regional Federation Lev Alexandrovich Pak.

After the announcement of the rules by the chief referee of the championship, veteran of sports, champion of the European Games in Sweden, Master of Sports of International class Mahanbetov Karisbek Saiduovich, the competition continued. According to the results of the competitions, the purpose of which is to recruit the national team of the region to participate in the championship of the RCV in Petropavlovsk, the following cadets of the 2nd year of the Academy joined the team: Zhappar Maksat, Mintaev Sultan, Anuarov Zholdasbek. Vladimir Semyonovich Tashlykov, a veteran of the Academy, established a cup for the best equipment, which was awarded to the 2nd year cadet Zhappar Maksat.
