The team of the special forces unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Sunkar” took the 6th team place at the UAE SWAT Challenge 2024. A total of 73 teams from 43 countries took part in the world championship among special forces units of law enforcement agencies. Among the participants there are graduates of the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The UAE SWAT Challenge is considered an unofficial world championship among special forces. It is also called the “Special Forces Olympiad". This year the competition was held for the fifth time.
