A round table on the topic was held at the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Shrakbek Kabylbayev: "Development of the probation service in Central Asia: challenges and prospects". It was attended by representatives of the United Nations Office on Drugs of Crime, colleagues from the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan, representatives of the Department of the Penal Enforcement System in the Kostanay region and government agencies. Before the start of the event, the participants laid flowers at the bust of Shrakbek Kabylbayev and met with the leadership of the university. In his welcoming speech, the head of the Kostanay Academy, Police Major General Akinkali Darmenov, thanked his colleagues for long-term cooperation and wished everyone productive work. A small introductory tour of the Academy was also organized for the guests of the event.
