Problems of torture prevention

On August 26, 2024, for students of initial professional training courses as part of the study of the module "Fundamentals of professional police training" on the topic "Provisions of international documents on the prevention of torture and ill-treatment of offenders and their implementation into the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan", senior lecturer of the Department of General Legal Disciplines, Lieutenant Colonel of the police Aizhan Buzakanova was invited to clarify the norms of international law by the director of the Kostanay branch of the NGO "Kazakhstan People's Bureau for Human Rights and Rule of Law" Mahabbat Mukhambetkalievna Akhmetbekova.
