A sign language lesson

In accordance with the instructions of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Sadenov, the first lesson on learning sign language was held at the Kostanay Academy as part of the initial training and advanced training courses. This event was an important step towards the development of inclusivity in the internal affairs bodies. The lesson was conducted with the participation of the certified sign language teacher of the Public Foundation "Hear Me" Rosa Ceylan, who has extensive experience in teaching and working with people with hearing impairments. She shared her knowledge and experience with the audience. During the training, the students got acquainted with the basics of sign language, got an idea of its structure and features, and also learned about the importance of understanding and respecting cultural and communicative differences. Such classes are planned on a regular basis.
