Master's Degree

The rules for admission to special educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan that implement postgraduate educational programs are provided for in the order of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 24 dated January 13, 2016.

The master's program accepts employees of internal affairs bodies who have at least one year of experience in law enforcement agencies. Candidates to study at special educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs submit an application to the personnel department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Criminal Correctional Institution, territorial Police Departments, Departments of the penal system at their place of residence.

For master's degree studies, personnel services draw up an educational file for candidates, which contains the following documents:

1. Report of the candidate for study addressed to the head of the territorial unit in any form;
2. Service characteristics and certification sheet for the last period of service;
3. A copy of the selection committee’s protocol on placement to study;
4. A copy of an identity document;
5. A copy of the certificate of passing tests in a foreign language (English, German, French);
6. Personal sheet for personnel records;
7. Six photographs measuring 3x4 centimeters;
8. Medical certificate form 086-U;
9. List of scientific and scientific-methodological works (if available).
