To motivate the students of the initial professional training for a healthy lifestyle, the senior inspector-psychologist of the Department of educational and personnel work, Police Lieutenant Colonel Saule Baigabulova, together with the combatant training unit, held an event with the invitation of an employee of the Kostanay regional Center for the Prevention and Control of AIDS. During his speech, Serik Kadron, a teacher at the AIDS Center's Preventive work department, noted that low awareness is the main cause of most of the troubles. It is very important that young people receive the necessary information in time and stay healthy. The topic of stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV infection was raised. The participants of the event noted that thanks to an employee of the AIDS Center, they expanded awareness on the ways of infection, transmission and prevention of HIV infection. At the end, information and educational material was distributed to the audience.
