February 15, the Day of the Withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan, is both a holiday for Afghan veterans, and a day of remembrance and mourning for all fallen internationalist soldiers. During the 10 years of the war, about 620 thousand troops passed through the battlefield of Afghanistan. Among them were former employees of the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Shrakbek Kabylbayev, retired Colonel Vyacheslav Alekseevich Pryakhin and retired lieutenant Colonel Sagyntai Toleshevich Zhasubiev. They have devoted more than 20 years to the training and education of young employees for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Vyacheslav Pryakhin held the position of assistant to the head of the Academy, Sagintai Zhasubiev worked as a senior lecturer at the Department of Criminal Law and Organization of Punishment Execution. On February 14, they take part in the capital's celebrations on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan. The leadership, the Council of Veterans, and the personnel of the Kostanay Academy congratulate Vyacheslav Alekseevich and Sagintai Toleshevich on a significant date.
