A cathedral conference on the topic "Information Technologies in the modern world" was held at the Department of Penal Enforcement Law. The event was attended by 1st year cadets from 106 and 107 study groups of the specialty "Law Enforcement": Alashbayev T., Seitkhozhina A., Koch K., Tokareva V. and Askerbek M., as well as the teaching staff of the department. The cadets presented reports on the following topics: "The use of scientific and technical means in the activities of law enforcement agencies", "Information and reference systems", "Automated training systems", "The use of specialized software in law enforcement agencies" and "Development and implementation of modern information technologies". Following the presentation, members of the department and participants of the conference exchanged views on further improvement of information technologies in the activities of law enforcement agencies, as well as on the implementation of measures to improve the effectiveness of the introduction of information and communication technologies in the educational process.
