On March 9, General Shrakbek Kabylbayev, whose name our Kostanay Academy bears, turns 116 years old. In the reading room of the Academy, librarian Kalamkas Argingazina and curator of the 7th group of students of the initial professional training Gulnar Tabuldenova organized an hour of poetry "The image of the legendary general in the lyrics of the cadets of the Academy". The multifaceted life and work of Shrakbek Kabylbayev was presented to the audience in a poetic and musical presentation. Cadets of the academy from different years of study put together the image of General Kabylbayev in patriotic and lyrical poems, which were recited by listeners N.Amantai, A.Akhatov, J.Kapar, N.Serik and others. Musical works written to the poems of Kazakh poets beloved by Shrakbek Kabylbayev were played in the hall: A.Kunanbayev, M.Makatayev, G.Kairbekov performed by listeners Oraz N., Buribayev K., Bekseit E. With great interest, the audience took the poems written by the cadets about their alma mater, the Kostanay Academy named after Sh.Kabylbayeva. The readers were presented with a story about the books, the editor of which is General Sh himself.Kabylbayev, such as "Blue overcoats", "Special purpose". These sources are the first domestic works about the work of the Kazakh police. At the end of the event, reviews of the exhibition "Tugyr biik tulga", as well as the personal library of Sh.Kabylbayev, presented as a gift by his family, Kostanay Academy.
