On the eve of the Day of Science Workers, the library of the Kostanay Academy organized a meeting of cadets of 103 and 107 platoons with representatives of the scientific community of the Academy – Candidate of Law, Deputy head of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics, police Lieutenant Colonel Akimzhanov E. and 1st year undergraduate student of the Faculty of Postgraduate Education Rakhmetkali S. The participants of the meeting talked about the role and importance of science in the activities of law enforcement agencies, about criminological challenges and threats in society, which legal science helps to combat. Each of the participants of the meeting told the cadets about how they came to the field of science, emphasizing the fact that the path to science begins with a student's bench. The thematic quiz "April 12 is the Day of Science and Cosmonautics Workers", conducted with the cadets, refreshed their knowledge and showed the degree of erudition in these issues. The book exhibition "Day of Science Workers" has been decorated in the reading room, which presents scientific regulations governing scientific activities in Kazakhstan, materials on the biography of K. Satpayev, as well as collections of scientific conferences and magazines "Gylym" published by the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after Sh.Kabylbayeva.
