The national youth team, led by an employee of the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, turned out to be among the best!

Yesterday, the World Youth Sambo Championship was held in Larnaca, Cyprus, which was attended by about 700 athletes from 33 countries. Under the guidance of senior combat sambo coach, Associate professor of the Department of Physical Training of the Kostanay Academy named after Shrakbek Kabylbayev of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Police Lieutenant Colonel Yerzhan Aitbayly Kabidullinov, the national youth team of Kazakhstan took second place in the team competition. The national team has one gold, two silver and three bronze medals in its piggy bank.

The next World Sambo Championship among adults will now be held in Astana. We wish our athletes good luck and new victories!
