I didn't pass by
Deputy Head of the Investigative Department of the Baikonur district Police Department, Astana Police Major Evgeny Vishnevsky is currently undergoing advanced training at the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The other day, on his way to the Academy, a woman approached him, saying that a man driving a car, following the sidewalk of the road, tried to hit her with a child. The major immediately went to the scene and found the driver unconscious. At first, he thought that the man had become ill, but after checking his pulse, he found that there was no threat to his life. However, the obvious smell of alcohol and an unopened bottle next to it confirmed his drunken state. Major Vishnevsky immediately contacted Channel 102 and, calling the highway patrol service, handed the would-be driver over to the police. His well-considered actions remind everyone that every policeman can become a defender of society in the most unexpected situations. Thanks to his attentiveness and willingness to help, the police officer prevented an even greater tragedy by bringing safety back to the streets of our city.
