A round table was held

The Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs held a round table on the topic "Reform of the penal system: new approaches and development prospects." The event was attended by representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office, the Prosecutor's Office of Kostanay region, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kostanay region, as well as the academic staff of the Academy. Kuanysh Kubintaevich Amralin, Deputy Head of the 2nd Service of the Prosecutor General's Office, presented legislative initiatives to reform the criminal justice system. During the discussion, key innovations aimed at improving the effectiveness of the execution of sentences and improving probation control were discussed. In turn, the associate professor of the Academy's IP Department, Lieutenant Colonel of Police M.S.Tuiganov, presented an analysis of the Academy's scientific research in this area, emphasizing the importance of the interaction of science and law enforcement practice. Following the results of the round table, a decision was made on further cooperation between the Prosecutor General's Office, the penal correction authorities and the Academy in order to develop legislation in the field of penal correction and scientific support for reforms.
