On Nelson Mandela's birthday, an international round table was held at the Kostanay Academy

Today, on Nelson Mandela's birthday, the Kostanay Academy hosted an international round table dedicated to this date. The organizers of the scientific event were the Department of Penal Enforcement Law. Welcoming words were addressed to the participants by the Head of the Academy, Major General of Police Akynkali Dautbayevich Darmenov, Deputy Head of the Situation Center of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Amangeldinovich Biekenov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Major General of Justice Meiram Akatovich Ayubaev, Acting Head of the Program Office of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Kazakhstan Madina Sarieva, Head of the Department Colonel of Justice Niyaz Kanatovich Ryspaev of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Kostanay region. In their speeches, national and foreign experts spoke about the legendary personality Nelson Mandela, one of the bravest fighters for human rights. Kuat Rakhimberdin, one of the supporters of promoting the ideas of Nelson Mandela, presented his monograph "The role of the implementation of the Rules of Nelson Mandela in the mechanism of overcoming gaps and conflicts of the penal enforcement legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan". It is gratifying that Kostanay Academy is the flagship in the Central Asian region for studying the Rules of Nelson Mandela. The Scientific and Educational Center for the Study of the Nelson Mandela Rules, established on the basis of the Academy, has become a worthy platform for training the staff of the country's penal enforcement system and allows improving the teaching methodology of international standards for the treatment of convicts.
